Dear Ms Landre

Greater Goorooyarroo draft strategy

Friends of Grasslands (FOG) is a community group dedicated to the conservation of natural temperate grassy ecosystems in south-eastern Australia. FOG advocates, educates and advises on matters to do with the conservation of grassy ecosystems, and carries out surveys and other on-ground work. FOG is based in Canberra and its members include professional scientists, landowners, land managers and interested members of the public.

FOG has had a strong interest in the Box-Gum Woodlands in the north of the ACT for a number of years. It welcomes the Greater Goorooyarroo project and strongly supports the draft strategy. It covers the areas FOG considers important and FOG has no further comments to make on it.

We would like to attend the meeting on 12 February, to find out about the final version of the strategy and gain a better a better idea of how FOG may contribute to the project. When the details are known, could you let us know the arrangements for this meeting.

Sincerely yours
